Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Site Engineer to join our client’s team based in Luton, Bedfordshire.
- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: £33,000-39,000 / year
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Multiple sites and company car for right candidates
Responsibilities:
- Surveying site and setting out of works
- Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate and current
- Resolving Technical Problems
- Material take-off and timely material requisition and material delivery tracker.
- Ensure Projects are delivered defect-free.
- Track and communicate design changes to the site team.
Experience:
Proven experience setting out for groundworks, levels, deep drainage, highways, roads, 278 works and earthworks.
Groundworks Experience within Basements, Infrastructure, Civil Engineering and Hard Landscaping is essential
Be proficient with a range of design software including AutoCAD
Ability to deal with clients & internal staff
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive attitude and willing to learn
Requirements:
- Understand scopes of work and project requirements.
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Ambitious, Dedicated, Team player
- Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal
- Good IT Skills
- Degree, HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent NVQ Level (preferred).
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- SMSTS / SSSTS- Preferred
- CSCS Level – Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager
- Full Driving Licence
