We’re looking for a dependable Kitchen Porter for our client based in Milton Keynes town centre. An ideal candidate will help our client keep the café kitchen running smoothly and hygienically. You’ll work closely with the Kitchen Assistant and chefs in a team, supporting all aspects of kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and basic prep.

Duties:

• Wash dishes, trays, pots, and kitchen equipment
• Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitised (floors, surfaces, bins, etc.)
• Help receive and store deliveries safely and correctly
• Restock ingredients and supplies during service
• Assist with basic food prep (e.g. portioning, sorting, simple chopping)
• Empty bins and handle recycling following food safety standards
• Work closely with the Kitchen Assistant to keep the kitchen flowing

Experience

• Kitchen experience ideally two years

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.75-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
