How long do we keep hold of your information?

  • A candidate record is kept for no longer than 2 years after the last point of contact with one of our consultants. This is to ensure that the recruitment ethics pertaining to HFS is adhered to and that a candidate that we represent or place in an organisation is not inadvertently re-approached by our consultant teams.
  • A prospective employee record is kept for the duration of the recruitment process, and twelve months after as legally required.
  • A client and supplier record is kept until the client/supplier informs us to remove their information from our database. This is necessary for the effective running of our business.

Do we transfer your information outside the European Union or European Economic Area?

The data that we collect from you as a candidate may be transferred to, or stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) for the purpose of a job application with a company who has operations outside the EEA.

The above mentioned transfers are necessary for the conclusion or performance of your contract with the company to whom the personal data is transferred and is in the interest of the individual candidate (Article 49(1)(c) of the GDPR).
